Privacy policy

Braggster keeps your scores on your phone. There is no server and there are no accounts. We collect one thing, crash diagnostics, and you can switch it off in Settings. Here is what that means in practice.
What we collect
One thing: crash diagnostics. When the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends us the crash details, your device model, your OS version and an install id that Crashlytics generates itself. It is not linked to your identity and is never used to track you. It is on by default, and you can turn it off under Send crash reports in Settings, which also deletes any reports still waiting to be sent. Nothing else is collected: no analytics, no advertising, no trackers. We never see your games, your players, or your scores.
What stays on your device
Your games, players, scores and settings are stored only on your device. If you delete the app, that data is gone. If you share a game with another device, it travels straight between the two devices and never passes through us.
Who we share data with
We sell nothing to anyone. Crash diagnostics go to Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service, and we use them only to fix bugs. If you buy a game, Apple or Google handles the payment; we never see your card details and we have no server that records what you bought. Nothing else leaves your device, so there is nothing else to share.
This website
braggster.com is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It uses Microsoft Clarity to see which parts of the page people read and where they get stuck. Clarity runs in cookieless mode here: it sets no cookies, it cannot recognise you across visits, and it gets a fresh anonymous id on every page view. It receives your IP address, your browser, your device type, and the clicks and scrolling you do on the page. We use this only to improve the site, and we never combine it with anything from the app. GitHub also keeps standard server logs, including your IP address, to serve the page and guard against abuse.
Children
Braggster is suitable for all ages. The crash diagnostics above are the only thing we collect from anyone, child or adult. They are not linked to identity, never used for tracking, and you can switch them off in Settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct and delete your personal data. We hold nothing that identifies you: crash diagnostics are not linked to your identity, so we cannot tie them back to you, and your games, players and scores never leave your device. If you would rather send nothing at all, turn crash reports off in Settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
